Ella Rolls Over...

Ella officially rolled over for the first time today. The roll was from back to front. This past weekend while we were on our spring break trip she rolled over on the bed to get closer to Mary Catherine. We thought maybe Mary Catherine had helped her so we didn't count that one. This afternoon she and Mary Catherine were on the floor playing and all of a sudden she flipped over. Mary Catherine and I were amazed. She did it a few more times just because she could. Ella truly loves Mary Catherine and Mary Catherine loves her. Ella wants Mary Catherine to hold her and love her. She just laughs and squeals at her everytime they look at each other. She gives Mary Catherine lots of open mouth kisses on the cheek. The funniest thing is when Mary Catherine pretends to talk on the phone....for some reason Ella thinks that is soooo funny. I love to hear them belly laugh at each other. I am so glad they love one another. I hope their special bond last forever. From personal experience, there is nothing like the bond that exist between sisters. I am glad Ella and Mary Catherine will have the opportunity to experience that special bond.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Ella's first Easter was eventful. Ella wore a beautiful Wilbeth Blue smocked dress that matched Mary Catherine's. She was happy and enjoyed staying in the nursery for the first time at Effingham Presbyterian church. Ella's friend Caitlin Bray was baptised today. What a special event. We had professional photos taken by Graceful Images Photography. We hope to have those in the next few weeks.

The easter bunny came by to see both Ella and Mary catherine this year. The old bunny knew just what to bring in the girls baskets. He brought Ella some passy's for 6 months, a my first bubble machine (which Ella LOVES and can work), Pink Bitsy Bunny some books, some white onsies, a bathing suit and goggles.

Ella is really growing long. We had to change her from 3-6 month clothes to 6-9 month clothes for the length. I am going to put her 3-6 month stuff on e-bay in the next few weeks. Ella is also very good at putting her own passy in her mouth. She actually sucks her passy and three fingers at the same time. It is very cute. Mary Catherine and she enjoy working on the animal sounds.
