Charleston Follow Up Appointment

Today Mommie, Aunt Flo Vinson and Mary Catherine went to Charleston for your follow up appointment at 3:30pm. Daddy couldn't go because it is Florence city annual audit month. We were trilled that Aunt Flo got to go with us to see you. We were so happy to see your sweet little face again. You now weigh 1 pound and 10oz. Your heart rate was 140 bpm. You heart was fully developed and everything appears to be developing correctly and on time. Mary Catherine and Aunt Flo loved being able to see you on the TV screen. The ultra sound lasted an hour and twenty minutes and was very difficult to do. You turned yourself over backwards with your spine up and were not being cooperative with the doctors. The doctors kept flipping me over and trying to get you to move. Mary Catherine kept talking to you and blowing on my stomach trying to get you to flip over. You were being very determined. When you finally did turn over everytime they would put the camera on you you would punch it off with your fist. I am very sore. They tried to do the 4-D ultra sound. From the the views we were able to get, you look alot like Mary Catherine. The 4D was really neat because I could see what color you are and that you look like a real baby. I did not have alot of ambiotic fluid around you and so the images were not the best. Because of the lack of fluid, you were too close to the placinta for us to see you on the 4D. However, the 2-D ultra sound did show that your heart was fully developed and you now have lips and a nose. We saw your bladder and kidneys. You are an active little thing in there. You like doing flips and have had the hickups several times. I have been quite sick with you this last month. The nausea is still pretty severe. I busted all of the blood vessels in my eyes a few weeks ago throwing up. I looked aweful. My blood pressure keeps sky rocketing, I haven't been able to sleep at all and then I have panic attacks. It feels much like I am having a heart attack. We went to the hospital once for a few hours and to the doctors several times. Dr. Chapman finally said I have to remove myself from all potentially stressful situations and from anyone who gives me stress. He said I need to rest with my feet up as much as I can and reduce my work by at least 1/2 until they get all of this regulated. I think they finally have me on some medication that is helping. I have had a few small bouts with siatic pain in my left hip and leg. So far a few tylenol, a pillow between my legs and rest has made it ease up. I just can not ride in the car for any period of time. I will be glad when you get here.
