YEAHHHH.....REAL FOOD!

Well, baby food but at least it isn't just milk and rice anymore. Today was our 6th month visit to see Dr. Whitehead. Ella weighed in at 16lbs and and 13 1/2 oz. She was 26 1/4 inches tall. her head was 17 1/4 inches around. She did all of her little tricks for Dr. Whitehead. He said she is right on schedule with her development and her size. He said it was time to start eating baby food and drinking some juices. We stopped on the way home and picked up green beans and apple juice. Ella is not a green food eater. The look on her face in these photos says it all. Ella continues to be a very happy little one. She is sleeping good and eating good. She laughs alot and loves her sister. She likes to give open mouth kisses. She will hold your face, kiss you with an open mouth and say MMMMMMA! The noises she makes include....DADADADADADADADA, BABABABABABA and MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA. She squeals in delight alot. Ellas newest trick is spitting. She blows at me when she gets mad. Her newest toys are the hanging jumpy thing and the exersaucer. She LOVES the fish on the saucer. It was a sad day at our house when we gave away the electric cradle and the bouncy seat. I thought Mary Catherine was going to have a break down....she doesn't like to get rid of anything. Ella is also very fond of pink bunny (that she got for Easter) and white bunny that stays on the changing table. Ella also had to get a new bathtub which she LOVES!!! She likes to splash and kick. I am usually soaked by the time we finish giving her a bath. She continues to enjoy Mothers Morning Out at Central. Her teachers Mrs. Vicky and Mrs. Brenda adore her and she them. Ella out grew the carrier this month and we started using a new Britax Car seat. All of the car seats we had for Mary Catherine were recently recalled...so, Ella actually got something NEW! She is going to have a complex. A friend of mine said her nephew asked his Mom....Why does my big brother get to wear my clothes before I do? I can see Ella asking this same thing. LOL!
